The difference between LSU fans and ULL fans is if you look in the back of a ULL fan's closet you will find some purple and gold. Not much red in LSU closets

I bleed purple & gold but, I have a set of red shirts(ULL), baby blue(SU) and forest green (SELa).

Actually I went to a USL tailgate for the first time this fall and I realized I had absolutely no red shirts.
My wife pointed out that I have no reason to wear red since the SEC has Bama, Arkansas, Ole Miss, UGA, South Car, State, and A&M all with some variation of red

Live in Bama can't wear RED! Nothing against the Raging Cajuns.

Same here until the last few years....when the Pelicans changed their colors. The only time I wear red now is at the Smoothie King Center.

Don't care about colors but I'm from the Laffy area and Love my Tigers. I would bet 80% of the people in this area are more Tiger fans than ULL fans. It's our State school and I personally grew up a huge Baseball and Football Tiger fan. I still root for the Cajuns when they aren't playing the Tigers though. No hate what so ever but you bet ya I much rather see the Tigers win bc we are the better team and represent Louisiana much better than ULL period. Anyway we need the offense to break out today and prove something to the nation. A big 13-2 game. Go Tigers!!

I will assume this is a error because the only UL is the University of Louisville. If you are referencing The University of Louisiana at Lafayette ( not sure why you people hate the name so much ) I think you might be onto something. The difference is likely just as you stated. ULL fans are likely to have attend and maybe even graduated from that fine school. Where is the non graduate fans of Louisiana State University A&M are in much higher numbers because LSU is the FLAGSHIP University for the State of Louisiana. The people of this state take much pride in the accomplishments of LSU on and off the field.
