Tweeted leech, doubt he responds though. I'd love to sit him down and understand the thinking that went into the decisions this weekend.

Me too. Luckily I have a cool boss, but I know most don't.

What kind of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse retard is making the calls for this weekend? They start game 1 and play for 3 minutes before a 2.5 hour rain delay then they call tonight and there's not a drop in sight.

I don't think Leech is on-site. He appears to be running the whole tournament. Which with him calling Alleva directly and Cauble's comments on WBRZ lead me to believe they made a TV decision.

They didn't make this call at 3:00, they waited until the first game was almost over, and it was seen that we could get the second game in. They didn't try to move any games up before the rain the entire weekend. Just sat there and waited for the rain to come. Then, after playing so late last night, decide that we can't do it tonight? MORONS!

There was zero rational thought that went into any of the planning this weekend. Pure incompetence

Josh do you work at Sochem?

This wasn't about rain...

On another note, a good one at that, Houston/Rice are in extras right now, so hopefully this games drags out for 4 or 5 more innings. Then, hopefully whoever wins this tomorrow beats ULL in the first game to force a second game, and one or both of those go into extras.
Look, it does suck that the NCAA completely fricked this whole weekend up, but whoever we'll face next weekend will be in a situation probably worse than we are. We're still only gonna have to play 3 games(hopefully).
ETA: If we get a Sat/Sun/Mon super this will all be forgotten.

Uncw requested the postponement because their players would be tired. I hope we throw at the first guy up to the plate tomorrow. Such chickenshit that they would give them a postponement.

Just coming here to post that. Ridiculous!!!

A similar situation occurred in the Tallahassee Regional on Sunday. The Auburn-College of Charleston game had a lengthy delay in the second inning. Following a five-hour suspension of play, the game was resumed.
Shortly after the resumption, the NCAA made the decision to postpone the game between Florida State and the Auburn-College of Charleston winner. College of Charleston, which defeated Auburn 3-2, will play Florida State in the championship round Monday just like the regional at LSU.
College of Charleston and North Carolina-Wilmington are both in the Colonial Athletic Association. According to sources, representatives of the Wilmington athletic department requested a postponement from the NCAA after that decision was made for the Tallahassee regional.

I will bring out a sign
UNCW = no balls
UNCW = no balls

Then their coach had the nerve to say this

UNCW coach Mark Scalf about postponement: "I can’t say it doesn’t give us a little breather."

LSU has no clout in the SEC or NCAA.

Rice 2
Houston 2
Going to the Top of the 16th inning

No, but apparently the Colonial Athletic Association does.
