I'm going in a few weeks and have a couple questions.

Any advantages to preferred parking?

I've read that you can have upto an hour wait to get into the parking lot. Did you find this to be the case when you went?

Did you go over a weekend?

SEC Dragonmasturbator gives excellent advice.

Went during Xmas time and saw no advantage to preferred parking.

Not in my case but the weather was kinda chilly for central FL at the time. So that probably affected the attendance at the park.

Yes, the line to get in and parking design sucks. Stay in the far right lane the entire time. It moves faster because it divides into two lanes toward the end.

Yes, in our case, much closer.

Definitely bring mini figures to tradewith staff.

It's definitely a park for younger kids, but there are a couple of decent coasters.

Just get there 30 mins before the park opens and getting into the lots is easy. We went on a weekend and it was easy. The preferred parking is about 30 yards closer than the first 10 rows of regular parking.

Forgot to say that you need to wear water shoes (sandals/Keens/etc) and take a rain poncho if you plan on riding the Legends of Chyma ride. It has boats full of water jets and you will get drenched. If you are dressed for it, it's one of the best rides in the park.
