If this is just lashing out from the Thibs camp then it's no wonder we aren't interested. Loomis doesn't need that kind of drama, he just got rid of all of the alleged tension between Dell and Monty that he was forced to be in the middle of.

If this is his way of negotiating, then he's pretty bad at it.

With those parentheses put in that tweet it makes me think that Thibs just told people he didn't want to coach all three teams and that guy just filled in the blank for what he thought the reasons were

I seriously doubt Thibs has told anyone he's not taking the job because AD is leaving. Again, Vecsey is terrible and looking for twitter followers.

Thibs could easily just say he's taking the year off, without the AD part, and still save face.

Guys with actual info were already starting to say that yesterday.

Several Thibodeau confidantes have suggested him taking season off, collecting Bulls' check and waiting for 16-17 openings.

Or he could just not comment on the Pels job at all, and nobody would even bring his name up if JVG or Gentry are hired. I don't see why he'd be looking to save face in the first place. Its not like Thibs publicly campaigned for the job, then bombed the interview. Not getting the Pels job doesn't make Thibs look bad.

Mark Jackson was asked if he was contacted by the Pels. He said no, and that was the end of it. No embarrassment there, or need to save face.

JVG on the other hand. Trying to get back in the game after all these years, and not getting the job. I could see him doing some spinning, afterward.
