Blood in my dog's urine

New Doberman puppy, only 3 months old.
Yesterday and more so today, she has had the urge to urinate more frequently (as in several times) while outside. Didn't think too much of it as I thought maybe she is getting used to our house as her home and marking her territory.
Tonight, I awoke to her yelping and barking in her kennel to let us know there was a problem. Appears she had an accident. No issue there, it happens. I took her outside and she immediately went to the bathroom. I brought her back inside and she pissed about the size of a quarter on a towel. Cleaned everything up again and then she urinated again on my floor about the size of a dime, this time with a small drop of blood in her urine. This was the first time I noticed blood in her urine (she is not yelping or crying when urinating).
I realize each dog and every situation is different, but my research online indicates it could be anything from a bladder infection, shorten urethra all the way to the C word. Obviously I am going to bring her in first thing tomorrow morning to my vet, but curious as to if any of you that are dog owners have had to deal with something like this before and what treatment options did your vet prescribe to you and your dog?
Update, I brought her outside a few minutes ago to use the bathroom and she urinated twice. The first time, she had no blood in her urine and the second time, she again had a small drop, about the size of a cuticle.

Thank you. We have grown very attached to her in the short time that we have had her. I can tell she is going to be a great family pet.

Beautiful puppy, thinking couldn't be cancer considering the age but I'm no doc. Please update later. Good thoughts

Get it to a vet asap
I read online that if she is whining or crying when urinating, go immediately to an emergency room.
Since she's not, I am assuming it is safe to "wait it out" until first thing this morning when my vet opens up.
We are keeping her hydrated and I have read that cranberry juice added to her water may help. Unfortunately, I do not have any cranberry juice at the moment to give to her.

I have nothing constructive to add but that's a pretty cute furbaby there and those eyes are pretty cool.
She's making me feel warm and fuzzy right now. Thnks for posting that.

I'm no vet but it could be as basic as she ate something she shouldn't have.
She is a puppy and they'll eat anything. Maybe she ate something that had a small point on it and as it passed, cut her a little inside.
If she's not whining or signaling she's in pain when she does her business, that's probably a good sign.
If it persists, I would at least consult your vet and see what they think.
Prayers to you, she's a cute little pup.

I didn't think of that, but you're right. I monitor her very closely when she goes outside, however she is teething and picks up any and every thing at this point, regardless if she is hungry or not.
Currently have her on Nature's Recipe dog food (2 x per day) and am going to gradually make the switch over to Royal Canin. I give her bully bones to help with her teething and an occasional salmon treat as well.
Time for me to try and get some sleep as tomorrow morning will soon be here and I'm already exhausted.

I don't know much about animal medicine, but in humans these signs and symptoms would most likely be a kidney stone.

No need to rush, just being to the vet today. If the blood is a drop after she urinates, likely just a urinary tract or bladder infection that can be easily cleared with antibiotics. It's if the blood is part of the urine and has a reddish tint overall that there are serious concerns.

It's this.
Would this cause her to have a constant urge to urinate?
I've never had a UTI or bladder infection, so I'm not sure what it is like.

Probably a urinary tract or bladder infection.

Had that happen to my dog a few years ago... peeing often and there was some blood in it. It was just an infection, some antibiotics and she was good to go.

Very comforting to know while I wait for our appointment. Is there a known cause or "shite just happens?"

I asked the vet, and she just said it happens, not rare at all.

She's beautiful, hope everything is okay!
