Bigger difference from 93 to 95 but why would I expect you to be straight?
Because his age was the biggest factor for this. Not some cohesive kumbaya bullshite you are blaming. Fact is he was better or just as good in 95 then he was in his 96,97, and 98 championship years

And if he never retired, the Bulls win in 1994 and never sniff another title. They lost grant and people seem to forget Pippen was on the verge of leaving. Jordan leaving freed the Bulls up to build the second threepeat.
Now this is interesting. Pippen leaving would have been the end of that

He was 30 and 32 respectively. His age caused nearly 2 more TO's a game that went right back down to normal the next year? His age?

In the 1996 NBA Playoffs, Rodman scored 7.5 points and grabbed 13.7 rebounds per game and had a large part in the six-game victory against the Seattle SuperSonics in the 1996 NBA Finals: in Game Two at home in the Bulls' United Center, he grabbed 20 rebounds, among them a record-tying 11 offensive boards, and in Game Six, again at the United Center, the power forward secured 19 rebounds and again 11 offensive boards, scored five points in a decisive 12–2 Bulls run, unnerved opposing power forward Shawn Kemp and caused Seattle coach George Karl to say: "As you evaluate the series, Dennis Rodman won two basketball games. We controlled Dennis Rodman for four games. But Game 2 and tonight, he was the reason they were successful."[35] His two games with 11 offensive rebounds each tied the NBA Finals record of Elvin Hayes.[16]

What caused more turnovers was the loss of the third point in the triangle - Grant.

Jordan was forcing the ball in an offense not being run the way it was designed. His fault. He wasn't rusty, he was stupid.

Not sure about that. Would Grant stay if MJ doesn't leave to make more history?

Pippen was about to leave but didn't and again, he may have stayed no matter what as well. He certainly stayed around for another Championship run when MJ came back.

Fact is, MJ left and the Bulls didn't win. Before he left and when he came back they did. It's all speculation outside of that.

Dude, are turnovers the only thing you give a shite about in a basketball player? His 95 pts and FG% were higher than 96,97, and 98. But you are stuck on the 1.3 more turnovers

From your own post:
quote:

93 35.1 pts 6.7 rebs 2.4 turnovers 47 %
95 31.5 pts 6.5 rebs 4.1 turnovers 48%

1.7 = 1.3

It's not the only thing, but it does show some serious rust. You don't think nearly 2 TO's a game difference is much? When did MJ have trouble scoring in his career? You act like since he had to turn the heat up in 95 to try to win, that proves some point for you?

Dude. Let me make it simple, when he came back in 95, 95 was better than 96, 97, and 98 in fg %, better than 96 and 98 in points, better than 96 and 98 in rebounds. He was worse in turnovers. Overall, 95 was his best playoff performance once he returned. So the rust argument holds ZERO weight unless turnovers are the only category in basketball

If you're talking points, then I can't argue with you as you put the #s down. But from a player standpoint, I think he was more well rounded in 96, 97, & 98 and part of that is he had a better team around him and didn't need to score as much.

Instead of going round and round, we can agree to disagree. Although I'm not even sure what you're arguing? That LBJ is the GOAT or the Bulls wouldn't have won 8 straight? It's all opinion anyway.

It is opinion but the facts we have def lead to a 98% no considering Jordan actually played in 95. That is my point

No but he did win six with one team in an era of a far more competitive eastern conference!

Good fricking lord man. People point out the pure shite show the Cavs and Heat are/were before and after Lebron saved them and people like you laugh.

And you use the same argument, except the Bulls swept Cle and took the Knicks to game 7 in the 94' playoffs.

You don't think Lebron could have taken that team and won a championship?
