What happened to Ben McDonald?

He was in Hoover at the start of the tournament, but wasn't for the last half. I haven't seen him on the Road to Omaha shows either. Did I miss something? TIA

Yea he was on the Road to Omaha picking LSU to win it all (not bc he went there!). It was a very quick segment going to commercial.
I think bc he's an SECN guy and not an ESPNU analyst. Not sure tho.

Thanks Honkus. He disappeared in Hoover all of a sudden.
Watching him now pick us. My timing sucks. Glad he's alright. Thought he may have left for a family matter or something.

He has been coaching a travel baseball team. Not sure if he is still coaching this year.

He is awesome as an analyst! Hard to believe he hasn't been picked up by an MLB network or other network broadcasting baseball.

I imagine he'll be at one of the 16 sites this weekend. Probably here if he had his choice... or A&M or Houston if ESPN doesn't want to seem biased or send us Kyle Peterson.

He is probably just happy doing LSU / SEC stuff and hanging around home. Rather than traveling half of the year.
