Joking about what? The MLB network showing the entire sequence of events beginning with the previous batter? No, I'm serious...they actually showed some context. Shocking isn't it?

For players to get ejected, you have to be a real shite head, and I just don't think what Harper did qualifies. Toss the manager, nobody cares, and you get your point across.

Harper said something at first and then shut up when Williams took up his case. Since the ump did not throw Harper out before he shut up, the proper recourse was to charge him a strike for not being back in the box. Now, he could have tossed Williams with no issue because it was prolonged complaining from the previous hitter.

It seems you're really reaching. The previous batter has nothing to do with Harper. Maybe the ref is emotionally incapable of handling that, but that only reinforced the absurdity of his actions.
