Ballpark what should I be looking at for 200 cubic feet; form, float, & finish?

My patio was 18x18 I believe
I paid for 5 yards of concrete plus 500 dollars
So right at at 1000 I believe is what I paid.
No reinforcing, and the concrete was stamped and pigmented

Hope you don't have to do math for a living, it's 5.5 yds not allowing for any waste.

I never knew pouring concrete was so confusing, this thread gave me a headache.

How easy is it to get to your patio? Is your backyard sloped?
Wheelbarrow 6 yards in this heat? Yeah good luck with that, rent a Georgia buggy.

This is about the 5th thread I've seen about concrete, where there was no end of disagreement on how much was needed and how much it would cost.
What is it about concrete that brings out such confusion?

It's like a lot of things. People do it once and they are now experts. Even if it was 10 years ago and the memory is a bit fuzzy. Good enough for the internet anyway.

I got estimates from a guy for 280 squart feet and he said $1900. The concrete runs something like $100 a yard.

Concrete is used in so many different ways, if I poured concrete for a patio the same way I do for an industrial foundation or a bridge cap it would be overkill, but seeing as how I build large machine foundations and bridges for a living I tend to use and recommend those practices. Others who do more flatwork tend to recommend the way they do it.
