Loose clubhouse having fun and winning. Good shite

And they are scouting with mid to late July in mind so there's plenty of time to see where the team stands. We WANT them to be looking toward moves a contender makes.
Jeff Samardzija? I dunno but he is one of the best rental options.

You actually don't have to give up as much in terms of prospects when you get a rental...they aren't going to go for randy Johnson here.

Oh I agree. But it's why I have been arguing for Hamels. His contract is only three more years, and we won't pay full price. And we know a big money starting pitcher would be signed in the offseason anyway, so why not get a reliable, playoff experienced bargain? I can see both sides.
As for the rentals, Kazmir is the one I like best. And we have a great shot to retain him if we want to do it. But I don't want to give the A's someone who might end up kicking our arse for 10 years.

Oakland gave up Russell for the same pitcher
Eta: just realized he becomes a free agent this offseason

Give you two guesses who said that. Follow the haircut

That's awesome. You can tell there's a lot of guys like Springer and Gattis that take the game serious but like to keep it loose. As little as I've been impressed with Gattis, he's always pumped in the dugout.

Back in Biggios day you weren't lighting up a smoke machine in the clubhouse while hitting .160

Ryno's prediction came up one bomb short, though.

Yeah I'm loving this loose clubhouse.
I mean I know they haven't had much to be happy about in several years. But it's awesome seeing them truly enjoying going to the park everyday.

Speaking of the dugout, been impressed with Rasmus' enthusiasm so far, with the reputation he came in with. He was pumped up after his jack last night.

There's diamond club tickets available on stubhub for $232.00! Deal of a lifetime right there!
Last year against the A's I found a single Diamind club ticket on Stubhub list for something like $30. I jumped on it and headed to the stadium. I go to enter the diamond club and get the dreaded "womp womp" from the scanner. Ticket taker seems genuinely worried for me but all she can really do is send me around to the box office to try and clear it up. Box office boothling scans it, finds same thing. Goes to the back to ask someone about it. They ask where I got this ticket, I say Stubhub and in very unconvincing fashion they said it must be a parking a pass and not a ticket to the game. I wanted to call bullshite so bad. She offered to sell me a ticket and I could take it up with stubhub. I declined. And while I debated what to do some nice lady asks if I need a ticket and I get a seat in 118 for free. I call stubhub and get my money back.
In the end I think some diamond club ticket holder accidently put their ticket up for $30 instead of $300 and panicked when it sold and cried to the Astros/Stubhub. And as an FYI, the Stubhub guarentee will only get you a ticket of the same price you paid, not same section necessarily. Stubhub offered a field box seat. I took the money since someone hooked me up randomly.
