Yesterday was a good day.

BB are hidden and waiting for amateur hour to end. Nothing to see here. Check back during power hour.

Players are waiting. We're early at 6.30/6.55.
One guy got a partial fill of 3 shares.
Amateur hour.
Good news really. At first blush I'd speculate it will be like this all the way through Q3. Huge spike when Oyo 7 produces. Then a dump as scalpers scrape pennies. It's the nature of the beast right now.
Ah well, it goes like ti goes. While it goes like ti goes, this thread needs liberal (a word I hate) application of laffy taffy links.
Laffy.

No +/- p, but 30 c's at .25 for June $7.50, and .75 for Nov $10.
What do you make of that? bb's yesterday, and not one specialist buying insurance to lock in profit.

Someone is hunting @ IEX.

Sellers appear to be almost gone.
So $7.953 by June expiry is one option trade for just break even, and the November is $10.96.
Ain't no way this is anything other than some guys gambling on etrade. And who knows? They might get lucky, it's not outrageous. They don't need to exercise, they could get a popcorn beat trap reaction to news and make it by selling to close on the actual contract rather than the execution.

Not bad. I'm a pretty simple guy. On every bit of news, the highs are higher, and on the profit taking, the lows are higher.
Iron Condor time? I'm gonna strangle this b outch.

I'm actually completely unfamiliar with this one. I don't hate the E&P space right now, though. I prefer to stay away from companies that make their money in shale plays and like offshore players more.

Between 500-600 calls were bought today. I added this up quickly, but 400 November calls went, and maybe 100 odd other assorted contracts.
No protective puts by the burst basket buyers however. Actually, not one put. The bb's almost certainly have to be hedge funds. I didn't have much time to watch today, but I think Vanguard picked up a bit more also. I don't know much about them, but they own ERN in their total market fund, so probably an adjustment (small) upward in holdings to reflect for increased market cap of ERN.
Everything seems to be going according to plan. The new $2 is now $12.
Volume was under 500K, but per split adjusted, this is still pretty good (2.928MM).
488K at an average trade price of $6.50 (low estimate) or about $3.12MM in market cap being exchanged. We have a long way to go here, but generally headed in the right direction.
Pull back? I hope so. Hard to make myself average up.
(Insert Laffy Taffy Linky)

And needless to say, how I wish I would have bought another 250K shares at .25/adjusted $1.25.
Damn.
Damn.

Amateur mistake. I've been the guy toting the flag for CAK/ERN all along. Believe in the potential and fundamentals going forward on a trust but verify basis. And I did buy at .25, but made the mistake of being scared and not buying enough. A very amateur mistake to let emotions get in the way like this. My mistake. I admit it.

Unfortunately, my stake isn't that great. Bigger than most here, but pales in comparison to Gene and IG, and probably Jwodie as well, and I'm sure a few others.
Nonetheless, +133% isn't anything scoff at, regardless the stakes.
Cheers to everyone who's made money, and will make money here.
