My extended hour commissions are the same as my regular trading hour commisions. It takes a big move to make any money on 100 shares, granted, but its not that bad.

I know I'm late to the game, but in at $7.58. maybe I can make a buck or two. This year has been killer so hopefully I can start making up some ground

I wish I could get in the game with you guys. I've been reading more and posting less in this and the Penny stock threads cause i'm trying to figure it all out. GD I love this board!

Gotta start somewhere. I was exactly at that point early last year. Played with fire in the MJ pennies, which taught me a lot, mainly not to be greedy and take profits.
ERN is different obviously. But I've ridden IG's coat tails on it for a good 18 months now.

Gotta be speculators, and not hedgers. Could be covered calls. Pricing makes no sense. Paying for 8.50 June 7.5, and paying for 10.50 November $10.00.
So a buck with less time premium, and .50 for more time premium and a significantly higher strike to achieve.
The wild, wild west until enough hedge funds, specialists and institutions arrive. The grown ups are soon on the way I suspect. On a small, trust but verify basis.
Folks, it's not often when some guy from Iowa guides through 2 years to get here until real volume and market cap. show up. This was the anatomy of a trade and acquire, on a speculative stock. Speculative but educated.
In another year, I won't be able to throw around 40K shares and move the market. I'll be extremely small potatoes.
There's a ton of volatility and risk left, but you are witnessing specialist starting to come in. It should be used as educational so it is easier to recognize next time you see it.

look at today's volume and last premium paid.
Anyway, EDGA/EDGX are on b/a, hidden inside 5000 X multiplier at 6.50, and at the ask 8000 X at $7.50.

I'm really tempted to load up more, but not only are we at all-time highs today but the averaging up aspect is so difficult. Would prefer to wait for another dip...if there even is one!

you have 40K shares? frick, how would you even feel that comfortable with this thing at the time.

eta1: thought about grabbing another 500 share or so, but damn its moved a lot in the past 5 days.

I have more than 40K. Average cost in the 3's post split. I bought a bunch pre split before the dividend. That helped matters greatly. I floated a couple of 40K trades pre market and drove the price down last week, and the week before. Sucker b/a's. No one bit, but the market makers immediately moved their inside. I called their bluff at 7AM is what I did, and set prices so wild they wouldn't execute. What I'm saying is that my 40K teaser is soon going be be minescule when the real players hop on. If and when that happens.
Edit, my original investment was taken out, too early in retrospect, but I'm 100% profit at this point. I had cash. I haven't been buying too many conventional sticks because I had profit locked in due to the market's run up. I don't know how to time either the top, or bottom of the overall market, so I took some profit, and had money sitting in cash. I just have a feeling everything is overvalued currently. Probably including ERN. But I could be wrong. Doesn't matter, I've taken my profit, and a correction leaves me liquid to load up. I'm simple, buy low, sell high, try not to get too cute or greedy.
