On the bright side, Southern managed to hold on to defeat Alabama State, and sit in the catbird seat in the SWAC tourney.

Our pen could kill us, but I think we have enough good arms to save us we just have to manage it correctly.

If CPM pitched Newman instead of Godfrey I think we would have won tonight.

I posted this earlier. But PM had an interview this year where he talked about "his rules". Things he lives by. One of them for him is bringing in a reliever with the bases loaded. I think he handcuffed himself there though.

Scorecard says only 10 left on base. 1 per inning in innings 2-5. 2 in 6,7,9. (Double play eliminates a runner)
