A few times but what I considered big at the time wasn't OT Baller status. Slots I was playing with $100. At a quarter machine but I was betting 5 lines a pull. I'd get up a little then down a little. Played about a half hour and hit an $800 jackpot. Stuck $700 in my pocket and played with $100 again and ended up losing most of it.
And one time playing craps. I was down to almost nothing from playing different games. Had like $20 left from the $200 I brought. This was at a bachelor party for my brother in law at the Silver Star and the guys taught me how to play Craps. When we left I was up to $600. Not bad when I was about to quit and just watch them and drink.
Another time at the Golden Moon when I was in MS for work. We played blackjack for about an hour or so and most of my coworkers went on to bed. I walked over to the Silver Star to play craps and ended up walking away when I was up $500.

I've won around $1,500 a couple of times playing blackjack, but that PALES in comparison to what I've lost over the years
One time in Tunica, I was down to my last $30 or so and won a few hundred on the penny slots. Still didn't cover all my losses though.
Had a friend on his bachelor party say he didn't want to gamble too much, so he played the nickle/dime slots. Hit a $4k jackpot in his first 10 minutes and didn't go back to the casino floor the entire weekend, just drank good wine and ate steaks in the restaurants. I envy the self control

I have a 2nd cousin that won $980,000 on the slots in Vagas about 20 years ago. The casino threw in what was needed to make it a cool million.
I really doubt the Casino gave him $20k to make it a million just for fun

I used to work at Planet Hollywood and it would not surprise me if they did this. By making it $1 million they could run ads claiming that someone won a million bucks at their casino to draw people in. It wouldn't look as appealing if it were $980,000

CSB about the poster OMLandshark. He was kicked out of one of the Tunica casinos in college for a fake ID and on the way out they were being forceful with him and he says “Chill out, it’s not like I have a gun or something!”
Well, they put the “disturbance” in their system as a “gun threat” and tagged it to the picture of his face in their facial recognition software. They also didn’t tell him they were doing this.
5 years later, we are at the same casino, of age, for a bachelor party. We are sitting there playing blackjack and within 5 minutes of sitting down a big group of security came and grabbed OMLandshark from our table. The facial recognition software pinged him as a “gun threat” and that carries a lifetime ban. For the entire weekend he couldn’t step foot onto the casino floor

Never hit big money but have had several nice wins of $2500 plus playing blackjack. My best was in the $4000 range. However I have also dropped several thousand on a few trips.
I waste lots of money on slots sometimes after winning a few hundred on blackjack nowadays trying to hit a big payout. I still remember losing $400 on a $1 slot in about 10 minutes. It doesn't take long at all on those things for your money to disappear.

Yes, when I worked for the casino owner. We won over $300,000 per day, every day of the year, at the Horseshoe in Bossier City, and another $250,000 per day in Tunica. That taught me pretty quick the unlikelihood of walking out of the casino a big winner.

Walked away with $8500 at a $5 3 card poker table in BR about 10 years ago. Started with $100 and got hot for about 4 hours. Started with minimum bets and worked up to max bets ($100 x 3) when I hit a straight flush which I believe paid around $4800. Got up to about $10000 before gave 1500 back and left with 8500.

When I won my $10K on the quarter slots, they gave me a W-2G right there on the spot.

Just because you don't believe it doesn't mean they didn't do it because they did. They flew out his family and all kinds of comps.

My best night/day was a 20 hour blackjack marathon in Kinder. I was down about $2500 and made a furious drunken comeback. Ended up winning my money back plus $7600 of the casino's money. The pit boss cut me off from drinking on about hour 18, but let me keep gambling because I had about 10 grand of chips in front of me. Was betting at least $100 per hand and splitting and doubling down. Crazy night.
When I went to cash in, the lady asked for my SS#, I told her to frick off cause $3000 of the money was my money that I had taken out of the ATM. I split up the chips with my BIL and we cashed out at different windows. $7600 tax free bitches!

Most I've ever won was $350 playing black jack
The next time I went to the casino I lost $200 of those winnings in about 15 minutes.
