has LSU ever had a player faster than that? That is only .1 off the all time high school state record for any classification.

Trindon ran a 10.08 as a sophomore in college. Don't know what he ran in high school.

noticed the State record held by Rod Richardson 10.2
I was 5-6 yrs younger but remember Rocket Rod who was unbelievably fast and held the National HS record . He later went on to run track at A&M
Jonathon Wade of Evangel was also one of the fastest 100m sprinters in the State

The fastest I remember was Eddie Kennison, who ran a 10.35 in high school.

I believe Xavier Carter won 1st in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100m at the ncaa championship.

Just looked up on the LHSAA web site archieved results of state meet and Trindon ran a 10.42 at the state meet to win the 100m his senior year in high school. Donte Jackson is very f'ying fast.
