I am so used to buying Blue Bell ice cream and now that they have gone awol, I've been looking for something to fill the void. Anybody have any alternative brand and or flavor recommendations?

I don't get the hand packed much but I do stop in for a couple of scoop cone from time to time. Last months creme brûlée was unreal as is the bananas foster.

I'm a Baskin Robbins fan.

Maybe you will discover there is much better ice cream out there. BEN N Jerry's. ...Hagen Daz...pretty much any ice cream shop in your area. ..

I don't care about any of those fancy mixed flavors. Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla is the GOAT.

HFCS Goop!

Actually, their Natural Vanilla Bean is the one non-HFCS flavor they make, and closest to Breyer's or premium ice cream with but a few ingredients..try it!

This is the flavor I pine for. Soooo good. A half gallon of that, some Sprechler root beer, and a pan of brownies, and that's a party. A party that ends in diabeetus, but a party nonetheless.

Natural vanilla bean is ok. Got nothing on homemade. I don't care if the grind up baby kittens to put in it. It's delicious.

Hope Blue Bell is on the shelves again soon. That'll probably be the safest ice cream to eat in the history of ice cream when they come back.
