I'm sure the truth is somewhere in the middle,
Probably...Oasis claims they have made multiple offers and traveled to Denver to meet with NB reps.

NB's use of the bicycle as an emblem makes the naming story more realistic. Not saying Oasis couldn't have come up with it independently.
Oasis .....I believe I red somewhere....says they were inspired by the song and its use in Dazed and Confused which was filmed in Austin. As I understand it, trademark is based on first use rather than first applied for. I'm sure lawyers will make money either way.

i just noticed the similarities when my daughter brought me a bottle of G&G from Shreveport. Really enjoyed it.

I worked an event at OBC a few weeks ago and hooooolllyyyy crap is that place awesome. Amazing view, good beer, great set-up and the staff is really nice. I can't wait to go spend a Sunday there drinking instead of working.
I guess I never looked up the brewery, but I just saw that they're right next to the Oasis restaurant up there on Lake Travis. That's one of the most beautiful views in Texas (the food at Oasis sucks though). I'll have to make a trip out there to check it out.

I know, I know. It doesn't have Dallas's Downstream Effluent taste so you don't like it. Some food & drink is local I guess.

If Jesus himself made a IPA it would be the Texas GOAT. possibly edging out Yellow Rose.

Give me Yellow Rose or give me death!
