Get your facts right dude. Profs at LSU don't make 6 figures, so don't spew BS. There is no reason for profs who bring in multimillion $$$ in grants to stay at LSU cause there isn't investment in high quality personnel. Finally, profs who are bringing in big time $$$ aren't teaching 2 classes - they aren't teaching shite. So please know what the F you're talking about before you annoint yourself an expert. Douche

Haitao Mo, an assistant professor in Finance makes $175,100 according to the LSU salary database. At least he teaches six classes. Your boy Bob Mann makes $128,499 according to the LSU salary database. He taught ONE class in the 2015 spring semester.

Les Miles is a football coach. All he wants to do is coach the sport he loves. We as a society criticize celebs for speaking out on political issues that are out of their depth. Don't expect Miles to step on that landmine.

I will say that if Miles were to forego his publicly funded salary of $300K, he'd earn instant acclaim and he respect from students and faculty. $300K is a small part of his overall $4M+ annual salary.

The metaphor, "Great generals eat the same food as their soldiers" comes to mind.

The man has earned his salary however and should not be expected to give it up.
