Kloss and Jaquish will alternate all year no doubt. Simmons isn't leaving 1st. Everything else will be a trial and error type thing. I an dumbfounded how we are playing this sloppy. Its really unacceptable.

Torina is beyond irritated with the current situation. I do know she has told some of the players that if they don't step up now that these elite players coming in were gonna take their positions.
Can you admit you made this up? Cause if she really did say this I can stop paying attention to this season because Torina blew this year.

Why would I make that up? And no. Everything I post about the program and the players is true. I spend a lot of time following the program and gathering info between recruiting and other aspects.
The way we are heading I have little to no confidence going into the post season.

To try to demonstrate how much of an insider you are and support your case that the imcoming players will take starting positions.

I am not lying at all but believe whatever you want. I wouldn't be saying shite unless its true and from the stuff ive gathered. I can just stop posting stuff about the softball team if youd like. I mean I agree I should have kept that to myself, wasn't trying to stir the pot but yea was kind of a dick move but I mean I also don't know if there is a back story from all the other things I have heard

I can't believe she's that dumb so I'm gonna take that comment with a bucket of salt and try to forget it.
Do whatever you want, I'll survive either way.

Team needs to regain swagger. Hopefully it will be tomorrow as the ride up till now has been a great one.

Everyone,
I was not trying to stir the pot. That really isn't something good to try to make up. I am very objective when I post about things. Yes I do agree its stupid to say. My source came from one of the trainers at practice. Apparently Quinn kept screwing up and Bianka Bell was having issues as well. But, I'd take it with a grain of salt. Torina really is a very sweet person so I find it difficult to believe as well. She is very competitive and if you are not getting the job done then she will make some changes. All that aside I hope we can win tomorrow then win the series vs Auburn. If we get swept what would our rpi be like?

I read it as a statement to them to pick up their play. The first thing that will be threatened to a kid I would think is PT. Obviously the kids on the current roster/bench are not taking one of the starters spots, because with the level of bad defense, it would have happened already.

Take your source down. It'll cause them trouble.

And look how much she's improved since then Why on Earth would you get in their heads with some shite about next year when they have a shot NOW?

Down to 4 at most. Auburn's playing Arkansas which won't give them any help there. Michigan won't get any help either.

I agree, maybe she made a remark and the trainer maybe heard it in a different kinda way. Maybe trying to get them to step their game up. Who knows, whatever she is doing isn't going well. We looked lost all over the place. Like I said I personally feel like the pitchers have zero confidence in their defense, which could have somewhat of an impact. Hopefully this ship gets turned quickly. You have to be concerned about where we are at,

All of that great work earlier in the season is going the tubes quickly for a home Super Regional.

With the way we're playing now, we may not make it to a super regional. I can't believe how this team has completely fallen apart. We can't pitch, we can't hit, and we're killing ourselves with errors. If Mizzou and Auburn both sweep us, which is now a legitimate possibility, will our RPI still be high enough?

They just need to regroup. From run-ruling OU to out slugging Florida, we obviously know what LSU is capable of. Something just doesn't feel right about the team chemistry.
Honestly, if 357 is right, it would actually make a lot of sense for the struggles. Torina doesn't seem like the person to make that remark, but we're all human and perhaps it did slip. We all know she was thinking it anyways. I'm sure these gals know the type of talent Torina brings in, so Torina probably didn't even have to make that comment for it to be understood no one's starting job is safe
all of the season goals are still right in front of them (minus maybe the regular season title), so they can regroup and still win a national title

Even if she did make those comments so what. She would be right! If some of the girls don't pick their games up they have talent coming in that will take their jobs...I see nothing wrong with her saying that if she did.
Posted on 4/26/15 at 7:32 pm to doya2
Well that's what I basically said. They already knows she recruits elite talent year in and year out. If you don't perform, you ride the pine. My point is that she probably didn't make the comment because it's already understood you either play at a high level or straight to the bench.
I still think Torina is fantastic and will do big things at LSU, but she's gotta rally the troops here.

Regardless of what might have been said and all our second guessing, BT has done a remarkable job and the girls have played their hearts out to be #3 in the nation. MO has been hot and we just need to let BT and the girls regroup and regain their swagger.
To hell with next year and to coin an old expression, we have a potential championship team as the future in nothing but a whole string of NOWS....
