i agree...he is and will be elite...and i promise you him in the slot with chark and dural on outside its gonna be sick...because i think chark is gonna be a game changer that people will have to respect...and i just dont think there is a team with a defensive backfield that can cover all three of them... Dupre in slot usually will get 3rd string CB or safety

You and many others thought the same thing last year. Dural had the same problem I just mentioned with Dupre. None were strong enough to beat press man. As the season wore on, tight coverage with a jam at the line completely derailed our routes and made our receivers make our QB's look less than pedestrian (as if they needed help in that department).

Chark looks like a skinny kid. He's got the height, speed and playmaking abilty. But if you can't get off the LOS in the SEC, you aren't going to be able to do much.

Dupre & Dural have gotten muuuuuch bigger and stronger though. If Chark can't continue to add muscle then he won't make an impact like those two. IMO anyway.

Your two replies are spot on IMO.

A good example of this would be the quick slants to Dural at the end of the first half vs AL and the first half vs A&M.

Both times, Dural was jammed in press coverage, and Jennings showed his inability to do anything remotely resembling making a personal decision not already pre-programmed. As you can tell by my description, I put that more on Jennings, b/c Dural's struggles in press coverage were a known factor. You could say Jennings inability to make a decision were also a known factor, so you could put it on the play call, too.

But, at some point the staff has to trust the QB position to make a decision. We went the entire season last year w/o running a true read option until second half of ND game, and don't you know, first time we let him make decision, ball ends up 10 feet in the air into ND's hands.

Back on topic, I'm not sure Quinn will ever get to the point he is not overmatched. Pulling for him though.

I agree and I think that is one of the main reasons Diarse has just as much potential to be a playmaker in this offense.
