The History of Meth, a Pineville Story
Surviving the Martco Sewage Flood
The Creosote Dynasty
I'm sure there are several other keystones to our history that my children will now never experience.

A ton of history accounts. Ancient engineering explanations. There was probably something that would have given us a better idea about The Sphinx. Accountings that spoke of previous "great" civilizations dating back a few thousand years or more. Perhaps even ancient text from those civilizations from 5000 BC and farther back. Who knows? Lost forever.
So now we store all of our history on magnetic hard drives

Pyramids give off energy so I bet they had knowledge on how to harness that energy.

I don't know but it's my favorite part of the Epcot ride. Smells like an outdoor wiener roast.

I love when there is a history thread asking about something specific and someone comes in and changes the subject to try and look smart.
His post was interesting and relevant. Don't be a bitch.
Perhaps we lost an ancient book on being less of a bitch?

The "blueprints" to nearly every grand building in antiquity, advanced knowledge of metallurgy that died with the Romans and wouldn't be rediscovered for 1000 years, countless plays and works of fiction, the history of hundreds of civilizations lost to time, knowledge of medicine and the workings of the human body, the blueprints for the world's first steam engine, the prints for the world's first mechanical calculator (the antikythera mechanism), knowledge of construction techniques, ect. The written copies of all of that was lost in the fire. That meant that when the Roman Empire collapsed, that knowledge died with it.

What was lost is the secret of the anti-gravitational rods used to move the stones in the building of the pyramids.
Also, the location of the Ark of the Covenant as well as evidence of extraterrestrial contact.
