I think 4. I think it just said 3 left until the finale. And that is 2 hours. So basically 5 episodes left.

Would it make sense if Don bought the house he grew up in and fixed it up?

Possible. I'm very skeptical that Weiner can save this. It will still be one of my favorite shows ever, but it's starting to feel like one of those epic games where your team loses at the end.

Don really took it on the chin this week.

The "you don't have any character", seemed to strike a nerve.

Should have ended the series with Bert dancing.

Joan said she's been divorced twice, she's only been married to the soldier during the series run right? So she was married before the show started?

Don and Betty both attracting the tennie bopper set. I thought for awhile Betty was gonna move his hand down from her face and take one for the good ole USA.
Joan's record speed love affair with some Frank Sintara/Johnny Carson looking guy from out of nowhere was kinda strange. But hey, it's the 60's/70's so maybe that's how they rolled in NYC. Her bitchiness level continues to rise though.
And the young guy with foot in the mouth disease was pretty funny.

I hope that this isn't the last interaction between Don & Sally. That would make me really sad.

Was it just me or did the last 10 minutes or so look different cinematically than the rest of the episode? Starting with the scene in the Chinese restaurant it looked a lot more darker and less smoother than normal. It reminded me of how the The Godfather and other late 1960's/1970's movies looked.

Looks like it might be the real estate chick taking it on the chin in celebration of her sale. :rimshot:

"The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" by Roberta Flack did not come out until 1972. Show is in 1970.

Maybe so. But she's one of the best voices ever IMHO so I'll give 'em a pass.

Got the lead with 2 min. left. And then you realize you have Chavis as your DC. That's how it feels..
Great until the last few episodes.

Other than the heavy handed "Don, your life sucks" moments, I have no idea what direction this show is going. It's almost like it's going to end as a show that was always and only about people going to work.
I mean, at this point if Don commits suicide, would anyone but Peggy even notice?
