I want to chime in on this but I am swamped right now. I see CCA is already being blamed for not supporting decreased limits when the science says that stocks are healthy. figures.

I'm blaming CCA for putting a bounty on our breeder size trout as a way to generate revenue. I would also like to see them offer programs to educate anglers on how our population of sport fish can be protected. I get it, you're a CCA supporter but sometimes it's hard to see the forest through the trees.
I never said CCA should support a limit change, only that they should educate people on treating our big fish with care.
