I would say that it is in LSU’s favor the Mailk Newman does not take any official visits. It’s becoming more and more apparent that Newman will be attending LSU next year given LSU’s current rooster, he will be given every opportunity to secure the PG position for next year and I surmise that he will be successful. Hence, Newman has made commits to the press that “LSU feels like home.” Along with the school’s close proximity of both of his parents who can attend his games. Moreover, Mailk was born in Louisiana and his mother, LaKeysha Newman still resides within the state. Secondly, Malik has visit LSU once in his junior season and again for the LSU vs Kentucky basketball game this year. Thirdly, He selects LSU based on his close relationship with Johnny O’Brien. Johnny has often been compared as a big brother type to him. Johnny maintains a close relationship to the family and I am sure, that he will advise the family regarding the atmosphere at LSU. It is my understanding that Mailk nor his family have ever visited Lexington. Given his close relationship with his father, I doubt that he would allow his son to play at a school he’s never visited. The decision appears to be made that Mailk will commit to the school that he has already visited twice which is LSU. It is the only logical choice. In summation, it is close to home. His parents can watch him play and the completion to play is far less completive than Kentucky. And lastly, don’t underestimate Antonio Blakeney comment in the advocate and his interaction with LSU prospects Blakenly and Simons. They appear to be one united front who already know that his commitment to LSU is pending. Check out this recent comments taken during the McDonald’s All-American festivities “What about LSU, they’ve been on you hard lately. What do you like about them? Just the fact that they have Ben and Blakeney coming. Those guys really want me there. LSU kind of feels like home because it’s so close to my mom. It’s only like an hour and a half away. It just benefits a lot.” In conclusion, I ask, why would he not take his official visits? My response, he has already his, unofficially at LSU twice.

Because of a damn chicken?
Not holding my breath, also not worrying about it. So much smoke surrounding all of this

Is this the Irish white guy that's been seen at his games?

This is not the place to make disparaging remarks about poultry.

There is this great invention they have on the keyboard called the "Enter" key. What it does is makes longer paragraphs shorter by spacing them out.
Give it a try sometime

That's a pretty bad block of reading. Though you do bring up some good points, I don't think anyone should "book it".

Your writing skills are lacking. But you make good points

I agree with your points, but it's uncomfortably presumptuous.
I'm hoping that the fact that Kentucky didn't win it all despite having such a strong roster takes his opinion of them down a few notches. It isn't a discredit to them or Cal, but I hope the takeaway is that their historied reputation doesn't guarantee anything other than more media coverage and that he, Blakeney, and Simmons could be a trio that draws as much coverage and, hopefully, as much success as this year's Kentucky.
