Eastbound on 10 and an 18 wheeler doesn't use a blinker and gets over in the lane just ahead of me. No big deal, except there was a car there. He hits him, drives him off the road and kind of smashed it. fricker pretends to pull over and when the victim pulled over the 18-wheeler hauled arse.

I called and gave the cops his #.

Same thing you did. Nothing wrong with calling the cops on someone acting like a piece of shite and blatantly breaking the law.

That's not "snitching," that's being a good citizen.

Snitching is getting caught with drugs and giving up your dealer's name.

You did the right thing. I don't think that I even consider that snitching.

ETA: I witnessed a hit and run maybe about 4 or 5 months ago while I was walking from the parking lot to work. I felt like it was my duty to wait around for the cops to show up to give my statement.

Called Causeway Police on an idiot (maybe drunk) 6 pm northbound swerving going 90 weaving in and out of other cars. They said thanks a lot and 5 minutes later they passed me and pulled the jackass over. Felt great. Turn their arse in.

Snitching means to pass on your dumbass misfortune onto another.

You did an admirable deed.
