Eastbound on 10 and an 18 wheeler doesn't use a blinker and gets over in the lane just ahead of me. No big deal, except there was a car there. He hits him, drives him off the road and kind of smashed it. fricker pretends to pull over and when the victim pulled over the 18-wheeler hauled arse.
I called and gave the cops his #.

Same thing you did. Nothing wrong with calling the cops on someone acting like a piece of shite and blatantly breaking the law.

The victim didn't follow his as?
Not only would I have called, I would have followed him till the cops caught up.

That's not "snitching," that's being a good citizen.
Snitching is getting caught with drugs and giving up your dealer's name.

Most of us would, he was probably in shock. Didn't look like a car that would be uninsured but who knows.

Frick that trashy truck driver for leaving the scene.

You did the right thing. I don't think that I even consider that snitching.
ETA: I witnessed a hit and run maybe about 4 or 5 months ago while I was walking from the parking lot to work. I felt like it was my duty to wait around for the cops to show up to give my statement.
