Anyone have the bakflip bed cover?

Been thinking about a bedcover for my truck since I have to haul so much stuff around with the kids. Looking at the bakflip g2 so my bed will still be useable. Anyone have experience with one? Are they relatively water tight and secure? Best place around BR to look?

I don't, but I have a friend that is on his third one, on 3 different trucks.
It seems pretty water tight to me.
ETA: He'd probably be still on his first if he'd give those F150's.

My dad has one on his F150, and it works well. Relatively easy to use and install. He hasn't ever complained about the water getting in (he'd ask me to fix it if so)

Yea I got one & the only time it leaked was when I left it parked under the eve of the house during a downpour. It leaked some right at the tailgate on just one side. Been in several other rains with no problems.

A buddy has one on his Ford KR, he's never voiced any complaints so I assume he's good with it.

I bought a BakFlip Fibermax for my Silverado a month ago. I love it. It's about 98% watertight. The little bit of water that seeps in during heavy rain, or high pressure car wash, ends up only in the tracks in the bottom of the bed. Shop around online. If you do a search, you'll several places that sell them and they all have either a live chat or a phone number. If you use the chat or call, you'll get a lower price. Just ask them for a better price. I shopped around, chatted on one site, got their lowest price, chatted on another site, got a little lower price, went back to the first site and told them the price from the other site and they beat it by another $20. The advertised prices are set by BakFlip and the dealers aren't allowed to advertise any lower, that's why you have to call or chat. I also got no tax and free shipping, buying online. Here is where I got mine from. LINK
It was very easy to install and looks great. I did a lot of research for about a week and found a lot of positives for the Fibermax. I'm happy I went with it.

FWIW, I paid $719 total for my Fibermax from that site. Which was about $100 off the advertised price.

I have the Undercover Flex which is essentially the same thing.

It leaks a tiny bit right around the tailgate seal.
Like it the beat I've had of any bedcover.

Thanks for the feedback... I don't mind a little leaking. As long it will keep luggage and stuff for the kids misty dry and secure it'll be good enough. Most places around BR have quoted be around 800 plus 50-100 to install

Just order it direct.
Install is cake.

I got one and love it. No regrets 2+ years

Do not pay to have it installed. Save your $100,spend 15 minutes installing it yourself, and then take your s.o. out to dinner with the $100. It's very easy to install.

Yeah, looks mike install is indeed a breeze. Any other online recommendations? Most of the places I've looked are about the same as local prices

I called the 799 price they would sell for 689

I bought the f1, with the mini toolbox. I really like it. Only water I have seen is when I go through the car wash. Very minimal even then.
