What a great early season pitching matchup. Hard to believe this is a game 3 matchup.
O/U is 6.

It is hard to believe this is not an Opening Day battle between these arms.

Is Strasburg really their number 3?

I guess technically, but Jordan Zimmerman went yesterday. Is he really the #2 over Strasburg or is this just the order they used coming out the shoot?
Don't forget Gio Gonzalez doesn't pitch until tomorrow. Their rotation is really good.

it's not Braves good, but it's solid

I think Stras has the fourth best ERA in their rotation last year and then they added Scherzer. I would take him over Zimmermann for the strikeouts, but they have three legit staff aces. I guess you could call him their #2.

They sent Roark to the bullpen. His season last year probably would have qualified him to be a legit #3 on some staffs, certainly a 4 on most. And he was their fifth guy last season, and relegated to the pen this season.
That's not just a really good rotation, it's ridiculously good. If the offense manages to put a full season together the Nationals will be fun to watch. But as of right now, they're playing without 3 of their main fielders.

How in the world is harvey going to be an opening day starter when you've got guy's like Bartolo Colon in the rotation?

I'd take the under.

The Mets were just trying to Entertain their fans. I love watching Colon pitch. His hitting is hysterical. There is nothing better in sports.

Nationals defense not doing Strasburg any favors.

The #Mets will pay Matt Harvey $614,125 this season. They will pay Bobby Bonilla $1,193,248 on July 1 this #MLB season,
