I understand you're joke. Just don't get why you're making fun of our walk-on players that are out there everyday making the team better.

Why wouldn't we?

Dude I don't know I'm literally just asking a question. I'm surprised that simply having a few good recruits is enough to get us into the top 10.

Geez, who put the stick up your arse today?

My post, in no way, diminishes their effort on the court

It is. Basketball recruits are not like football recruits. They can make an immediate and huge impact. If Newman comes here they will be ranked no doubt.

Just kinda bored at work and was messin with ya. Doesn't really bother me

But to answer your original question I think even without mickey we should start ranked top 20 just based on talent and potential alone

Simmons, Newman, and Blakeney would make Wyoming College of Art a top 25 preseason team.

We aren't going to be in the preseason top 25. If M&M came back top 15.

So is the scenario how does the addition of Newman impact our ranking?

No need to get sour, im just pointing out the guy has never been committed, and hard to consider him a given in a scenario.

And you think talking about college basketball preseason rankings is more interesting than spring football? Moreover, you dont think this board can flip this into a Jones bashing thread?

Anyway, with mickey and the freshman all enrolled, I think we are low top 25. If we had Martin, it would have been feasible to have top 5.

1. Malik Newman has not declared for LSU. 50-50 at the very beat. State with Howeland might be the faviorite now.

2. We have not been rankled in 6 seasons. IF we are ranked, it will not be higher than 21.

3. We may well have serious problems in the frontcourt. Simmons and Victor, as beginning players, will have to carry us there with no decent bACKUP. We could get dominated inside against good teams especially in the SEC.

4. With Martin and Mickey now gone, our shot at an SEC title and a great season are gone as well. At best we can be 23-8 and make the NCAAs again and maybe win 1 game.

This is college basketball in the era of one and dones that we are talking about. I honestly don't see what so is confusing.

Ben Simmons, Antonio Blakeney, and Malik Newman are better than good.
