LBD was just a pull of homebrewed barrel aged coffee porter from the keg.

FBD Community Barrel Aged Legion RIS Batch #3.....great stuff. Nice chocolate front end and maybe a hint of cherry then hop bitterness and bourbon....but not an overpowering bourbon.

I'm taking it pretty hard. Still drinking Dales(12 pack was the right call after all) and now listening to Santana Live at the Fillmore 1968. Great Album! I need to sale the house and get to the mtns.

Get drunk and wreck em, the wife will be pleased and you won't know the difference.

Back on Allman Brothers Live at the Fillmore plowing through these Dales. I need to find my hammock. Told the wife she is taking the kids to school tomorrow, I am going to ride my bike in the mtns and get high like Duane Allman would want me to. Life is good.

Glad to see some of the swill I sent break into the rotation. Normally, I'm almost embarrassed at what I have to send you, this box finally measured up to the level your boxes sent South set. No beers for me Monday, still hurting a bit from Sundays hijinks

How is the Quantom hop? They have some home runs and some misses.

Sorry. Just seeing your question.

Quantum Hop is pretty good. I suppose I was a bit disappointed, only because I was hoping for a West Coast style DIPA, a good hop bomb. The Bayou Teche guys really don't go for that style, though, as evidenced by their Cocodrie (Tripel IPA).

However, I shared the bottle with my neighbor last night, and he liked it alot more than many of the really hoppy IPAs and DIPAs. It drinks incredibly smooth for a DIPA style.
