So far in this thread the hate is coming from Little Rock, Arkansas, Houston Texas and some retard in Michigan.

If you drive an hour outside of New Orleans you have access to canoeing, kayaking, boating, fishing... all kinds of outdoor activities.

there's plenty of canoeing and kayaking around New Orleans. Hell, there's even an awesome annual 130 mile canoe race on the Bayou Teche called the Tour du Teche.

He's not really hating all that much, this state doesn't offer great scenery like mountains, But I can head out west for that.
Id like to live somewhere like Alaska, Montana, Washington, etc during the summer, then here outside of that. That'd be ideal.

How come people from New Orleans cannot listen criticism with out getting bent out of shape?

Yeah I don't understand everyone taking this guy's comments so personally. I don't think he ever said he hated New Orleans because it didn't have outdoor activities, he just said where he currently is has better ones.
Based on the pictures he sent, I would rather go hiking/kayaking wherever he's at than around New Orleans. But that's not a knock on NOLA.

It goes both ways. I've never seen a city get so many people butthurt. With all the problems and bullshite New Orleans has I don't understand why so many people who don't live there have so much hate for it. Great you hate New Orleans good thing you don't live there or you would be miserable.
