Go to eBay and search for Griswold cast iron. There are tons of them on there.

New iron or antique? I much prefer old "smooth" skillets. I've read before that the manufacturing process changed and the Lodge's today won't ever get as smooth as the antiques.

There's a guy in Slidell that had a bunch of old Wagner's and Griswold's -- Danny Da Pillager. All kinds of sizes, most of them had been stripped in an electrolysis tank and ready for seasoning.

Denham Springs has that flea market area. There's one store there that has a shitload of them.

The older cast iron was machined smooth and seasons much easier/better. The new cast iron has a rough, uneven surface even after it's seasoned. The old cast iron is thinner which gives you better heat control too.

Go to the antique district in Denham, they have plenty.

If you want quality for cooking, you're best off checking a few of the hardware stores like Goodwood or Vernon's on Florida.

If you are actually looking for them for decoration purposes, then I suggest checking the antique store in Denham Springs. They have shitloads and most would need a lot of work to get into cooking shape, but would work fine for hanging on the wall, etc.

Lodge will never be equal to older Griswold , Wagner and a few others.

That said, alot of the old stuff on Ebay may be pitted or cracked.

I bought an old Griswold # 9 titetop dutch oven at a garage sale last year for a steal.

There are deals to be had, but you gotta look

Why do you need a conrbread one when you can just use a normal one and cut it into wedges....seemed like a very narrow range of use.

just buy new lodge or staub if you go to an antique store you don't know if its older stuff or not, just season it good & never use detergent on and only clean it with salt

Any particular sizes in mind? I might be able to help you out. I have a few extras laying around and I think I already dipped and seasoned them.
