You may want to go check the update on that thread BTW
Central isn't that big of a town and it wasn't that long ago sadly.
I'll still bet 5 bucks old boy has issues.

They have. Every now and then they will raid dispensaries.
Oh, I'd not heard of this. That's got to be a bit unnerving as a business owner knowing that even though the state officials say you're good to go, any moment the Feds can come and basically ruin your livelihood.

I will say that I think pot is the only illegal drug that should be legalized and regulated, or at least decriminalized. It has a lot more uses than to just smoke and get high.
I pretty much agree with you 100% here.

He very way may. But like I said in that thread, you can't convict him based on nothing more than an accusation from the girl. But let's not hijack this thread. We can discuss this matter in the other thread if you like.

The returns on the dispensaries are pretty high so it wouldn't take too long to get back on your feet, I'd imagine. But then again I've never owned a dispensary so what the frick do I know?

IIRC, there were significantly more raids on medical dispensaries during Obama's first term than both of Bush's. I could be wrong, but i don't feel like looking it up.
If the wrong Republican gets elected, these businesses could be fricked.

I was just thinking that if I've got a store full of inventory, that's actually a shite-ton of my money all tied down to the product on my shelves with the only way of seeing a return on my investment being that I sell that product for a profit. Now if all of a sudden all my inventory is gone and not only did I not make a profit, I didn't even recoup my initial investment, that would be pretty devastating to most small businesses.

Well that's what you get for pouring your money into a business with that much risk.
They all know the rules.

It's like chugging a fifth of tequila and blaming the alcohol when you fall off a bridge.
100% this angle is played when comparing the dangers of alcohol in the legalization discussion. And 100% of the time the court of public opinion, media, etc site alcohol as a cause.
If your position can't stand up to people siting the use of the drug as an important part of the incident, than you need to strengthen your position.
But I want it legal, so I'll let you have it both ways.

Edibles are basically the only way I use pot. After the first few attempts you figure out the best amount for your favorite type of high. Also edibles come with a tremendous variety of different strains and different plants. You have to figure out what the edible you are consuming is meant to do.
Trust me I know! I have uses edibles for over 17 years, legally for the last 12, but I just prefer smoking. Even at really low doses edibles get me so fricked up that I can't leave the couch, even with low doses of sativas. That is fine on occasion but I only take them when I am at home and don't plan on leaving.

This sounds pretty depressing to me. In his LINKEDIN post, a year ago, he was a waiter in a Mexican chain restaurant. Evidently, he couldn't find a full time job in his field (BS Marketing - ORU, Dec 2014). He also ran a vending machine business for the last 7 years. On his resume, he lists one of his assets as:
I'm thinking he wasn't a happy camper, and most people don't really tell you what's going on until it's too late.
quote:So evidently a vending machine business is stressful and fast paced and requires maintaining order and efficiency. (Don't intermingle the chips with the candy bars.)
Operate under stressful situations in a fast paced, customer service based environment while maintaining order and efficiency.

If the guy who stocked our vending machines could even do half of this it would be a damned miracle.
