There is a lot of negative energy here. Let's make some positive posts.
What have you done to help other people? What random act of kindness or selfless act have you done in the last month and the last year that ranks number one for you?
I'll start things off.
1. For the last month I donated money to St.Judes.
2. For the year my best moment was helping an old lady. I was about to get in my truck and a woman approached me and asked if I could help her. Wanted me to come get her mom out of the car. I asked if this was an emergency and she said no. Just for a doctors appointment. Said her mom can not even stand and I would have to pick her up and place her in a wheel chair. I talked to both ladies the entire time so it would not be awkward. Both said thanks and were on our way.
So post your nicest act for the last month. And number one act of kindness for the calendar year of 2015. Update every month for your monthly good deeds and you can replace your top act of kindness when this is accomplished at any time.
1. Monthly= April
2. Year to date= 2015

Made a couple of go fund me donations to people I don't know.
Picked up the entire table's checks at a restaurant without them knowing who did it.
Bought some stuff at a fundraiser's live auction and donated it back to be sold again.

Or it can motivate you to do more. Before my best act of kindness this month was holding the door open for a woman at the gym. Glad to replace it.

This has to be the most self-serving thread in the history of TD.

so last night I got to the gym in my complex late because we went to visit a property...I do my shite, I'm wiped. It's 9:15 p.m.
I see someone left their bmw keys in the gym (because you need the gate clicker to open the gym door) so the FO doesn't open until 9, I assume he/she has somewhere to be before then, they can't get back into the gym.
So I went all around the complex clicking the god damn thing until I found it. Put them in the driver seat and closed the door
I did this because a stranger helped me out this weekend

So we have a homeless guy outside of my office that is there a couple of times a week. It had been cold so I had been feeling bad. I pulled up and handed him all the cash in my pocket ($6 or so) and chatted for a second. As we were wrapping up the convo, he told me the only reason he sits there is to use our Wi-Fi to watch movies and proceeded to pull his smartphone out.
Matthew 6. Very nice!
ETA: Reminded me of this...

My good deed was buying and delivering a christmas tree to the convent at our Church. Family was out Christmas tree shopping and I saw 3 nuns out shopping for a small tree. They got in line behind me. Without saying anything, I paid for their tree and ours. My son and I put it in the back of his pick up truck and delivered it to their convent.
That was fun. They were very surprised and I like doing stuff like that.
