Have stretch marks? Struggle with your weight? Share your bare stomach with strangers via social media and you can be a hero, too! She such a brave, heroic woman and I say we continue to celebrate her inability to say no to overeating.

For the record, having a child shouldn't be a license to gain 80 pounds.

A photo of a mother-of-three wearing a bikini and showing off her “permanently flabby” post-baby figure has gone viral for its empowering message about body image.

"That same man says he’s never seen anything sexier than my body, marks and all."

She posted it to her company Facebook page and within five minutes, the photo had racked up 100 likes. By Tuesday, the photo had more than 325,000 likes and more than 41,000 shares. “We couldn’t believe it,” says Hollis. Then something amazing happened.
Hollis says she’s always struggled with her weight, even before the birth of her sons, ages 2, 6, and 8. “After my first pregnancy I accompanied my husband on a business trip to Hawaii and was hanging out at the pool with all the executive wives,” she says. “Everyone was wearing a bikini and I wore a tankini. When I look at those photos, my body language reveals how self-conscious I was.”
In the comment section, women began proudly posting photos of their own post-baby bodies — “And it seemed like some had taken photos on the spot and posted them,” says Hollis — with statements such as, “This is me! After 2 kids, 1 miscarriage, 7 bladder surgeries, ovarian cancer and a hysterectomy! Love my bikini,” “Rock the mama body,” and “Here is my imperfect tummy but from it I have a perfect daughter.”
quote:
One woman wrote, “Seeing this may give me the courage to wear a bikini again. Had my son almost 8 years ago and haven’t shown my stomach since.” Another: “I don’t look half as good as this but I will probably never look better than I do. Maybe it’s time not to care.”

There's probably a reason for this.

She doesn't look bad at all considering that she has three kids. That being said, I hate this social media powered LAM attention whoreing thing.

Damn. That's rough.
Good for her.

So she got obese from lack of will power and overeating. Had a surgery now we should celebrate her?
The new America sickens me deeply.

She looks fine after pumping out 3 kids. I'm not clicking the link to see the other comments though

She doesn't look half bad for a regular Mom on the beach. Was expecting something much worse. It is indeed empowering, to my penis

Why do feminists try to fight the idea that being skinny is a good thing?

What about all the women with kids that don't look like shite?
Posted on 3/24/15 at 6:14 pm to ClientNumber9
Meh whatever. I don't care enough to pick on the girl.

Just read this. OP, you are a piece of shite. She looks great for what she's been through. If she can encourage someone who's been through the same thing, what do you care?

As long as we stop there with the bikini empowerment because no one wants the next step...

She looks like a bowl of cream of wheat

I'm all for loving yourself, but so many of these "empowered" people get angry if you don't think exactly what they want you to think. If you have to constantly convince people you don't care what they think and love your body yet still get offended if someone doesn't think you look good, your whole act is a lie.
This fad of posting pics to get reassuring support is the definition of irony.
