Couple of serious questions.... Are you 13? And have you ever watched a football game or do you even know what a football is?
He's probably a ULL fan who hates everything LSU hence his mentally retarded stance against drafting La'el.

Never said I was against drafting him. I just think we can get better player (Defense) at 13th spot than him.
I wouldn't be happy but I would still welcome him.

If I recall correctly (purely memory and too lazy to look it up), SP mentioned that one of the things that drew him to Cooks was when he interviewed defenders and asked them about players they hated going against.

From Paytons mouth.....
quote:
Payton was asked what his team’s biggest needs are. He listed cornerback, INTERIOR OFFENSIVE LINE and “potentially” a pass rusher as three areas of concern.

This is very correct sir.

Why do you feel that we need to draft a OL in first round? It is not necessary for us at this point! I rather draft upside talent at 13
You are an absolute idiot. This is the shite right here, that got us 7-9 last season in the first place. Pathetic interior offensive line play & years of drafting "upside talent". Go on lil boy, go play some Madden. Leave the draft talk to the grown ups.

Bud Dupree beat Javedon Clowney's 40 Time for god's sake!!! He has such an explosive first step that causes havoc on the oline protection.
I rather have him over Collins 9 out of 10 times.

So what? It honestly doesn't matter what guys run in a 40 unless you are a WR or RB. Its pretty useless for most positions imo

Who Dupree? Look man, Dupree has physical talent but if you would have watched him play live, he disappears for extended periods of time. He for damn sure ain't a sure thing like you make him out to be. Collins will be a perennial Pro Bowler at guard barring any catastrophic injuries. You can take that to the bank.

I know mud bugs are in season but don't crawfish now for being called out for stupid statements.

Wasn't that quote right after the season ended? We did address our DBs via free agency. We added a good center in Max Unger. Kept Evans. May slide Leitio in as a starter.
Based off those addresses, we just probably get an OLB at 13. That is where we should get an upside OLB at that position IMO.

This is sig material right here!

He disappeared because He had to play multiple positions on that defense. But his best tape was when he was standing up, rushing the QB. If it's anybody who can use him properly, it's Rob Ryan.

No dumbass, it was a few days before the combine.

Yep. He's a Junior Galette clone. One dimensional pass rusher who is a liability against the run. No thanks. It would be better to take Preston Smith later on who can play both the run & rush the passer.

Spot on right there!

We still need a OLB opposite Junior Galatee. Parys Harlson and Humber ain't going to cut it.

Kentucky LB/EDGE Alvin "Bud" Dupree is "raw but learning, with huge growth potential as a player," according to NFL Media draft analyst Lance Zierlein.
"Freakish athlete with chiseled frame. Outstanding power with ability to rag-doll tight ends at will. Should be an above-average edge-setter. Good transition from playing run to rushing quarterback in play-action. Explosive closing burst. Willing thumper when he has a shot on running back. Can drop into space and play zone. Raw but learning, with huge growth potential as a player," Zierlein wrote. The 6-foot-4, 267-pound Dupree has showed great versatility with the Wildcats, playing both DE in the 4-3, and OLB in the 3-4 alignment."
Would greatly make our defense lot better if you have Junior Galatee and Dupree on the field. Along with Hawthrone and Ellbre up in the middle.
Draft a OL in 2nd and 3rd round and we are good.

We actually need to get more talented & athletic in the middle. Lofton is gone & Hawthorne may be around another season after this one. Neither are/were the most athletic to begin with. Are you forgetting about Cam Jordan? Just because he had one bad season doesn't mean he won't bounce back. He had double digit sacks the year before last & even before that he was consistent at getting pressure on the quarterback.

That defense would get gashed like a muthafricka by the run on the edges.
