I know he is a good player but not what we need at 13th spot. We are going Defense with that first pick no matter what. We lack severe talent on the LB corps. It's about time we need to draft a player like a Bud Dupree. We always can get a OL in the 2nd or 3rd round.

I actually think Ali Marpet or Cameron Erving is better than Collins. Just think Collins doesn't fit in Payton's offense philosophy.

Have you forgotten about this guy? Collins is very similar to him.

The guy they want at middle LB is Stephone Anthony and he will be there at 31 and the guy the want at edge rusher is Preston Smith he will be there at 44.

Collins is going to play guard for us and if you think Ali Marpet or Cameron Erving either one are better than Collins you are out of your mind and there is no reason to further this conversation.

Oh and Dupree is a reach at 13.

Carl Nicks had 31 Reps on the bench.

La'el Collins only had 21 Reps. Scouts often commented about his poor use of hands in pass and run protection.

Carl Nicks is 40 lbs more than Collins. So please tell me how much Nicks is similar to Collins? Not 100 percent.

No Dupree isn't reach at 13. He is top 15 talent that will be gone by 15. So how is that a reach?

Look up Ali Marpet and other OGs in the draft, there are considerable few that are more polished and has better tape than Collins.

What the frick is run protection?

Secondly the biggest knock on Collins is his footwork & that's at the left tackle position. His feet won't be a big issue inside at right guard. His hands are what he is complimented on most & he is often described as being heavy handed meaning he packs a punch when he hits a defender. I don't know what scouting reports you reading. If you actually watched him play, you would know this as well.

Do you really think that Ali Marpet can come in and start week 1 for us at Guard and perform at a high level? If the answer is no or even maybe...then you might want to get this cute little idea out of your head. We're taking Collins to be our starting guard for week 1.

Terron Armstead was small school draft. He started in middle season.

What's your point? Yall are dreaming if we pick Collins at 13. Not going to happen.

The only o-lineman I would take over Collins is Scherff but he wont be there at 13, probably going at 9 to the Giants. Peat is a great Tackle but wouldnt move inside as easily as Collins. So I dont know where you are getting your dumbass info from (Probably Bleacher Report) but you should stop.

Couple of serious questions.... Are you 13? And have you ever watched a football game or do you even know what a football is?

There's nothing wrong with taking a player from a small school. You also don't pass up someone the caliber of Collins who brings an upgrade value at a position of need. You don't pass up a sure thing for a damn project like Ali frickin Marpet with the hope it works out for the best. Lastly Armstead finally cracked the line up at the end 2013, not in the middle of the season.

Why do you feel that we need to draft a OL in first round? It is not necessary for us at this point! I rather draft upside talent at 13 (Bud Dupree fits that mold); makes Junior Galatee expendable if we ever go that path.

There are loads of good picks for OL in the 2nd and 3rd round. I trust our scouting for those guys because look where we came with Armstead, Strief, Evans, Bushrod, and Letito.

I don't really see the urgency or need to draft a OL in the first round. We need talent STAT on defense. We have neglected LB corps far too long to not draft any.
