Yet, still a D-leaguer.
I don't think you'll see any of these Kentucky guys in the D-league next season. Maybe Johnson.

Honestly from an NBA standpoint, duke definitely has more elite guys than UK. As did 2012 UK and 2010 UK. This team just has huge size advantages in college. Other than Towns, I don't think their rookies will set the NBA on fire.

UK would be a shitty NBA team NBA can match up size and athlete wise and UK doesn't have wings to match up with NBA starting level wings

Why are there so many more Kentucky than Cincinnati fans at the game?
Posted on 3/21/15 at 2:19 pm to vengeanceofrain
Or guards. Harrison twins and ulis are good in college but nba point guards could eat against all of them.

Kentucky has 5 players projected to be drafted in the 1st round... 4 of them in the top 12.
How would they do against the Rockets? Saying they would beat the knicks once out of 10 is one thing, but the Knicks only beat other NBA teams 1/10 times themselves. Put them against an average NBA team and they get beaten soundly; put them against a top 5 team and they lose by 20+ all day every day

Twins aren't even particularly good in college
Posted on 3/21/15 at 2:22 pm to rockchlkjayhku11
Even the worst team in the league the Knicks... They have no one that can hold melo under 40. And Harrison trying to guard Larkin is lol

SHUT UP... You are pathetic,,,,,
Winslow thinks he is a bully on the court.. When[IF] he is in the NBA he will get manhandled... Okafor will be decent at best.....
The Harrison brothers are better than anything Duke has. Stein will eat up rebounds in the NBA and will end up being a better pro than Okafor will ever dream of...

The people who take this argument honestly believe that Sean kilpatrick, jerami grant, and ish smith wouldn't see time on this Kentucky team.

You think wrong.
His point is that the D-leaguer I mentioned was a really good college player.
My point was that he was a really good COLLEGE player.
ETA: Also, as a guard, it's a lot harder to come into the league and be contributor compared to that transition for a big.

You think too highly of yourself, then.

The comment is absurd, but in the major sports, basketball has to be one sport that a stud college team could compete with a horrible pro team.
At least compete better than the other sports.

Well your previous post proves that you're not following so

But that is also only taking into account 1 game. If we're talking about an 82 game season, you would have to assume that Kentucky would improve much more over the course of an NBA season than the Knicks.
So what is a 15 point underdog for game 1 will probably not be the case for game 82
Are they playing the Knicks 82 times?...pretty much every team in the league would be much more than a 15 point favorite.
Posted on 3/21/15 at 2:38 pm to rockchlkjayhku11
No, it doesn't.
My point about the D-league guy originally is that these NBA teams aren't exactly standard bad NBA teams.
There are some really bad ones in the league. Regardless of how good/bad/decent/whatever Kilpatrick is, the fact that an NBA team had a guy play in a game when he arrived 45 minutes prior to the game (and had never practiced with the team or knew their system at all) tells you about some of these teams.
Also, Kentucky would get 41 home games. I think you would agree that the home crowds in college basketball are worth a lot more than those crowds in an NBA arena.
Kentucky wouldn't lose every game they played on an NBA schedule. People are underestimating just how bad some of these NBA teams are. And yes, I know Kentucky isn't the greatest college team of all-time. But they are very good, deep, and have the size to match up with NBA teams (which is necessary in this argument).
