Brady dug his own grave. Trent was a bad hire. Ark St did not even make the Sun Belt tourney this year.

He hasnt taken Ark St to the NCAAT in the 7 years he's been there much less an NIT berth.

I can't recall a Brady loss that was do to his poor coaching.

Not saying we should have won, but UCLA in the Final Four was one of the worst basketball coaching games in LSU history IMO.

We could have at least kept it close.

At that pace, had he been fired a decade and a half later, he'd have been destined for the hall of fame. But his momma didn't name him Dale Brown.

Give me a break. LSU went to 10 straight tournaments under Dale and 13 tournaments in 15 years.

Sweet generalization, bro.

It was clearly time for a change. I appreciate your contributions to LSU hoops and I know you might not like Jonesboro, coach, but don't take it out on us.

I certainly wasn't happy at how the team dropped like a rock immediately in conference play after the Final Four run.

Coach Brady was a cool guy. Use to talk with him every year at the Top 28 in Laffy. My little brother and his friends loved his camps. I think it's easy to get burnout on a guy like Brady because the kids stop responding from a constant screamer after a while. He wasn't a bad coach but he was a terrible offensive coach and it was hard to watch. He coached good D though.

Ture. I was speaking more about situational coaching (in-bounding, time out calls, plays coming out of time outs, etc.).

How are the Ark. State fans feeling about Brady now? I know they were all excited to get a coach who had been to a Final Four when they hired him….are they starting to see why he is so polarizing?

If you mixed the good things about Brady with the good things for Coach JJ, LSU would be Dominant.

it was also annoying, in his good years he couldn't stop tooting his own horn and then when things were bad he'd blame the sanctions or lack of fan support.

Didn't Brady have some rather harsh words for Gottfried and Alabama after they beat us at the PMAC and their players stood on the scorer's table celebrating? Brady took up for his players defending their arena,

Are you referring to the draconian sanctions that held him down for so long??

There was tigers20, draconian sanctions, and one other huge brady loyalist. Bad Cat?
