What do you expect? He's entitled as hell and sounds like he has never faced any real problems/struggles in his life.

That's a perfect emoticon for you. They should change its code to :glt24:

It's like you go out of your way to be the stereotypical millennial that has all these ridiculous opinions on life with absolutely no experience.

If I didn't know any better, I would think I was in your head but I know arguing on the Internet is your thing.

I commend the father of the bride for not being a dumbass and wasting money on getting a bunch of DH's drunk on his dime...most of which he hasn't met before and will never see again. that is a bad investment

I'd be more embarrassed to be seen in public in general if I were you

I think I would just elope than make my guest pay cash for a drink at my wedding.

ETA: Or, have the event at a place that will let you bring in your own liquor. The mark-up for alcohol with catering companies is crazy.

You'd be the first person I've heard refer to spending money on a wedding/reception as an investment.

Yeah... if two people are getting married and money is tight and they can't afford to pay for their guests to drink, that's understandable.

Now if they spend elaborately on other things like decorations, venue, etc. but just choose to go cheap on the booze, that's not cool.
