With the wheeling and dealing he did to get under the cap, get extra draft picks, cutting of players with personality issues, and the addition of several good players, Loomis needs to win an award for GM of the year.

Don't sleep on Jeff Ireland's influence on these moves, either. Obviously had a hand in today's Stills trade.

This is what happens when you do contracts like Loomis does. I think we all know these days were coming, but honestly I've loved the trades so far and now with 10 draft picks, five of which in the first 3 rounds, absolutely on board.

Yes. Nobody questioned his ability to deal with cap. The question is can we get the production we've lost in the draft which has always been up for debate as to how good Loomis is on talent evaluations.

I don't see how people are upset about our offseason moves.

I'm loving all this. It's like a soap opera with all the twists and turns.

Loomis and the entire coaching staff along with CSP are on the clock after this off season. This says a lot about CSP locker room and the scouting dept of Loomis the last few years.

They will either win kudos, awards and lots of games or earn their pink slips.

I still think he overpays players and has drafted poorly...which is why he's had to overpay players

is this really a rebuilding?

Graham, stills, lofton and grubbs are gone...oh the horror.

We're better in the secondary, we're better on the o-line pending what happens at LG, we're better in the backfield.

our receiving options are down...cooks could be huge this year and colston is not above a resurgence with graham gone

I'm stuck between "what the hell are they doing", and "they getting good value for these guys". The one thing I don't like is labeling someone like Stills a bad locker room guy, or bad work ethic guy, just because he got traded. That's unfair. That's like LSU coaches throwing Brandon Harris under the bus and basically telling everyone he is dumb, because he looked bad in a system known to make qb's look bad.

I'm convinced they are trading up for either Beasley, or one of the wr's.
