These fricking home movies with Courtney are creeping me out in the worst way. So weird and gross.

Seeing his artwork, he was a fantastic artist. Anytime an artist kills themself or dies young a mythology develops about them and that makes them like a Greek or Roman God and enhances their image beyond what any living person or person who lived to be much older could ever reach. The same for Hendrix (my favorite artist), Joplin, Morrison, Jeff Buckley, etc. And I'm a fan of them all including Kurt.

I don't think Nirvana would have that legendary status to such a wide number of people if he hadn't offed himself but he was very very talented and I would have loved to hear other records from him or Nirvana had he lived because I know he would have at some point made a record like the Beatles and changed his sound up, he would have gotten bored with doing things too much the same. It's why In Utero is so different from Nevermind.

They were selling more albums than Michael Jackson did in his prime, while Cobain was still alive. They were the biggest rock band since the Beatles...
