We had 2 Akitas (1 worse than the other_ that had seizures due to the flea/tick stuff we used but the seizures went away when we changed brands.
I do not recall the brands involved....sorry.

mine take a flea and tick pill during summer months but not now. So cant be that with mine. But i do give them heartguard heartwom pills and gave her one yest an hr before seizure. The vet said on the phone she didnt believe the heartworm pill should do it. But i do have on my phone 3-4 other times documented that she had seizure 1-2 days after the pill... could just be coincidence

Holy shite bump:
I just looked back at the dates of my dogs seizures in relation to his flea and tick medication. 3 weeks after giving him a dose of flea and tick meds, he had his first seizure. His 2nd and 3rd seizure came 3 days after taking the flea and tick meds the next time. What the frick?
