Theres almost no way they can screw this up. Thers will be alot of talent there at 13. Hopefully a team will covet someone at 13 and we can move down to 18-20.

Hypothetical F your world in no particular order
1. Leonard Williams
2. Shane Ray
3. Randy Gregory
4. Amari Cooper
5. Danny Shelton
6. Vic Beasley
7. Andrus Peat
8. Alvin Dupree
9. Dante Fowler Jr
10. La'el Collins
11. Brandon Schreff
12. Trae Waynes
13. BPA
*Kevin White
*Arik Armstead
*Shaq Thompson
*Benardrick Mckinney
QB's must be taken to give our draft process hope. Lucikly for us TB, Tenn, Jax draft first ,but if QB passes those 3 teams...
Oakland spent a 2nd rounder a year ago on a QB
Washington spent 3 1st's on RG3
NYJ drafted Geno just 2 years ago...I would think he is a year away from true competition
CHI, NYG, ATL will not draft QB
at this point STL is your last hope before our pick of a QB being taken

I don't think Peat, Scherff and Collins all go top 12. Possibly one or two do, but i doubt three.
I could see Tennessee or NYJ easily drafting a QB, or a QB-needy team trading up into the top 12 to grab Mariota, so I think we're good on that front.
Also please God no to Armstead and McKinney at 13.
I think it's getting pretty clear now, and FA will clear it up even more. It'll be Waynes, Scherff/Collins (whichever falls), One of the Top 7 defensive front guys, or trade down.

Eric Kendericks or Shaq Thompson is the best pick for us at 13.
Yes I know you think Shaq is SS but there are lot of scouts that says he is a LB. Bottom line he is a first round talent and can ball.
Our LB corps is in need for a huge upgrade. Both of them will make our below average LB corps into an above average unit. They are electric and make plays. Address CB, DL, and OL in the latter rounds. That's where we get players like Evans, Strief, and Armstead.

Dude his mock draft up there is not even close to reality. There will be way better talent for us at 13 than Shaq(THE STRONG SAFETY!) or Kendricks.

free agency will say a lot. I think they'll find a way to keep both Grubbs & Evans. In that case, no 1st Rder for OL.
I'm not so sure they keep both that's why I'm thinking Oline in the first

there is no way we take a WR or a CB in the first round.
Baptist was a healthy scratch all year. they aren't going to invest another high round pick into that position. I believe they will address CB in free agent market. ( Maxwell, finningan, among other available CB out there)
WR please..... doesn't matter if cooper is there ( which he wont) but we don't waste another draft pick on WR. look at the history of saints and WR in the first round. ( cooks is still in the judgement period)
Now OL and pass rushing LB are in play.
I don't see them signing both guards at there current rate. they may keep one, but if they want to play for the saints next year they must take a significant pay cut. Grubbs and evans cap hit is at 10 Mil each!!! and they don't deserve that kind of number. so they may keep one but not both. ( I see grubbs being shown the door)
so now to the pick its self.
if one of those high end pass rushers is available they will take that player. (fowler, ray, Beasley, Dupree but I think 13 is too high for Dupree)
if the edge rusher are gone that will mean a high end OL player will be available.
Collins would be a good pick especially if one the guards I just mentioned is not there. I see Collins a 10 year pro at guard that can play tackle as well.
that I believe will be the saints game plan

#13 is due for a bust. Odds are we pick it
Posted on 3/4/15 at 4:27 pm to Meateye
Shaq Thompson is better prospect than those "projects" pass rushers OLB that are available at 13.
Gregory, Fowler, and Beasley are the big 3 OLBs that I would be happy with but they will be gone before 13. I dont want us to waste our pick on a "project". We need a impact player at ILB badly. Not a pass rusher OLB.
****This thought process will change if Saints decide to release FR but unlikely.

That's a reach for him. He doesn't have the frame to carry much more weight without it slowing him down. NFL offensive linemen are a lot better than Pac-12. I would rather take Kwon Alexander in the 3rd round that Thompson in the 1st. Both are very comparable in size, speed, and college success. Kwon has the edge in taking on blockers.
I see the potential Shaq has, just think it's a reach at 13, maybe if we trade down.
