The #13 Pick Has Produced Stars, Longtime-Starters And Not Many Busts

With the #13 pick we'll be selecting from a spot that has produced alot of solid NFL players.
Teams have drafted back-to-back Associated Press defensive rookies of the year at #13: Defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson, who was drafted by the New York Jets, in 2013, and Aaron Donald, a defensive tackle drafted by the St. Louis Rams last year.
The #13 has also produced a future Hall-of-Famer (tight end Tony Gonzalez), regular Pro-Bowl participants (like defensive end John Abraham) and longtime franchise staples (like offensive lineman Brad Hopkins).
Check out the #13 pick over the last 25 years.....
The odds are with us, hopefully this trend continues.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)

Is the consensus pick the best pass rusher on the board at this point?

It is but I dont think we are going that direction personally. I think as of now it is between LLLLLLLa'el Collins and Trae Waynes. But FA could change that.

I want either Collins or Scherff. If we go pass rusher I wouldnt mind Shane Ray or Alvin Dupree. Gregory or fowler won't be there

Beasley impressed the frick out of me at the combine. I think I would rather him.

depends they all could be gone at which point I think they go OL

I actually think there's a higher chance Gregory falls than Ray. Especially if Ray has a good pro day.

free agency will say a lot. I think they'll find a way to keep both Grubbs & Evans. In that case, no 1st Rder for OL.
Waynes looks like the only CB that could be considered at 13 IF he is available, it's just a matter of where he sits on their big board.
The stars do look aligned to get a pass rusher between Fowler, Gregory, Ray, Beasley, & Dupree. I think Fowler the least likely, as in gone already. Ray missed the Combine. Look him up. I might like him the most of those.

will not take a CB in the first rd.
they had a healthy scratch 2nd rounder last year will not waste that pick on CB.
they will address CB in free agent.
I don't see them signing grubbs and evans both. not unless both of them take less money otherwise good bye.

I think one of these.
But will keep predicting a 1st round CSP trade down till it happens!

What if Cooper,Collins, and Waynes are still there at 13. Could get interesting.
Posted on 3/3/15 at 4:58 pm to OchoDedos
At that point Cooper is by far BPA and I think they should pull the trigger on him.

Cooper is a must pic talent.
Collins is a solid pic.
Waynes I really don't have a opinion on.
Collins depends on what we do at our two guards.
If Coop is there would hope a team below us is in love with him and trades up with us.
Would rather get a FA #2 CB with our history.

Trade down, accumulate picks.

I would be into Ja'el Collins, even better if we moved back and got him (like we could pay another pick)
I think he could play Tackle, but really i think he will excel at Guard. Like pro bowl level.
I know we prize our guards, and build from the inside out. Would be a great pick, I am not sure if it is th best value at 13 though. depends on who is there.

Furthermore, that's quite an interesting trend for the 13th pick. Hope the luck is on our side this draft. We really need all the help we can get. Collins would be a great pickeup. So would an athletic LB. I just hope we aren't stupid and select a WR in the 1st again.

If we take collins at 13 I'll be pissed.
We could trade down and still get him
