there are also a lot of people saying just the opposite.
Of course there are, but the years of running s successful independent practice is kinda of a feather in the cap to show that most people thought he was caring rather than belligerent.
It isn't like he was a physician with some group and could do whatever he want...when you run your own practice if people don't like you then you can't stay in business. Much less have a successful business and be as highly regarded in the industry as he was.

I believe they were married before 2012.
He was my wife's Dr and she really liked him. She felt he was warm and invested in her well-being beyond ob/gyn. Her only complaint was the office waits, but she chalks that up to his actually spending time with his patients.

I know she shot the doc and she's not under arrest!
There has to be some reason they didn't arrest her???
Yes, there is a reason. Likely, there are multiple reasons.
When arresting her they need to have probable cause, then know what they are charging her with. Without charges, they can only hold her for 24 hours (I believe). So, they want to ensure what they are going to charge her with is accurate and something a judge can say is justified.
You can't go around arresting people, then figuring out what you're going to charge them with. It is an on-going investigation and when they figure it out, we will know.

St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s detectives are still investigating and awaiting autopsy reports before they decide whether to charge Kacie Breen, Bonnett said.

I thought they got married in late 2013 early 2014, but not 100% sure

That is exactly the same situation, 100% as what my wife would say and is the biggest issue with her PCP as well. Who is approaches medicine in a very similar manner as Breen did.

This was his second marriage.....I wonder why the first one failed
I don't know if it was the cause of the first marriage failing, but I do know that he lost his practicing privileges at St. Tammany Hospital for quite some time because he knocked up a labor ward nurse there.
(info relayed to me by someone who worked at the hospital at the time this happened).

The good doctor was in a violent physical altercation with his wife when he was shot.
So which one of them came home at 3:00 AM?

Oh yeah. This is getting juicy.
Dr Feelgood was out moonlighting at 3am

I can tell with with 100% certainty that he had (at the time of death) privileges at St. Tammany Hospital. Whether he lost them at one point or not, I am not sure.

I don't think many people thought this wasn't the case. I think most rational people assumed they got into a disagreement, that likely turned physical and led to the shooting. Now, who was the aggressor and why is what we don't know.

My old OB/GYN banged every nurse in the hospital. His wife gave him four kids. Even worked in the office. He is a brilliant surgeon/OB. He would sit for hours looking at everyones photo albums. Nicest bullshite, of a bedside manner you would ever see. It still does not mean he wouldn't turn into an arse at home and abuse his wife.

Is that your translation of "Dr. Wayne Breen and his wife, who fatally shot him during a "violent physical altercation" early Sunday (March 1), had a history of domestic issues"?
Break that sentence down..."Dr. Wayne Breen and his wife had a history of domestic issues".
That doesn't say there is a history of domestic abuse.
Look, you may be right..maybe he beat the hell out of her but thats certainly not what what article says and you aren't basing that assumption on anything credible whatsoever at this point.
