So many retards in this thread

OP: I haven't seen GF or GF2, Shawshank, any Star Wars movie, Goodfellas, Forrest Gump, Pulp Fiction, SPR, TDR, The Matrix, Psycho, etc... should I watch any of them or post on M/TV?
I just want to

I watched Blackfish and cringed the whole time. It made me feel sick, but it was a good documentary.
Good movies are good movies regardless of disturbing content. Inglourious Basterds was nothing compared to the actual truth of WW2. I have a more difficult time watching real WW2 footage and the inhumanity involved.
It's cool though, I just wanted to see where you were coming from.

Batman Begins?
TDK?

Thought they were poorly made movies. The stories were kind of dumb. Batman Begins is OK. Ledger gave a great performance as Joker, but I just don't get the love for the movies.

No. I did not think it was a good movie.
Edit- I thought that the skeleton of the movie was enjoyable (the place settings and the flow of events). I did not like the acting as a result of the script and direction in a number of scenes. Hated the dark jingoistic humor.

I am only saying this so you'll trade me A.A.Ron for some scrub next season. Deal?

Miller's Crossing- Movie was boring as frick.
Saving Private Ryan- And people think The Thin Red Line was boring. I could barely stay awake watching this movie after the brilliant opening scene.
Lincoln- I couldn't believe how uninteresting this film was despite an incredible performance by DDL and source material from one of the best political books ever, "Team of Rivals".
Full Metal Jacket- Opening 45 minutes was riveting, the rest was blah, a rare misfire from Kubrick
Any film by Clint Eastwood after Unforgiven- Clint should have stuck to directing and acting in Westerns.

I agree here although I don't hate it. It's just kind of blah.

Another celebrated, but extremely forgettable film. It was also utterly boring. Did most people love this?

I love period piece flicks. I love just about all of the actors involved yet it took me about 3 tries to watch the whole thing. Bored me to death.

The opening is awesome. Rest of the movie not so much. Not sure I have ever watched it again. I just can't sit through the stairway scene again.

Silver Linings Playbook.
It wasn't bad, but several on here claimed it as the movie of the year and I had high expectations going in and I was severely disappointed.

Took me twice, but I completely agree.

How could I forget this one. I do hate this movie and everyone loves it.
The entire gambling plot was beyond absurd. Winning the dance bet felt like it was straight out of an 80s lets save the rec center movie. I really didn't like this movie and I took heat for saying it which reminds me.
Little Miss Sunshine. What a horrible film. Grandpa is dead, poor teen kid is color blind and his dreams are shattered, Michael Scott tries suicide and in a horribly contrived scene he runs into his ex OUT OF TOWN in the middle of nowhere, but because an Ugly girl dances like a stripper...all is well with the world.

The only one worth watching (and I've been watching Nolan's films since Memento), IMHO.
