With the "needs a little work" - I'm thinking you might want to start at $25k and take the first person's money who brings you $20,000.

every Vette guy Ive ever met is a old fat bald guy that thinks he has a chance with the hooters waitress

IIRC, the holy grail of Stingray's in the 1970 model.

Not me head full of hair, just been setting on it for about 12 years ready to sell it.

Really just carpet.

Ask $27,500 and take the first $23,000 that shows up.
(I mean - it's a nice C3, but they aren't in super high demand - it isn't a restoration, it just has new paint. The engine runs good - I think this is a $23k car.)

When I was a kid my Dad had a 1970 Stingray convertible, white with black leather. Like this one:
Coolest vette.
Coolest vette.

Out of that era, yeah - '69 and '70 are going to fetch a premium - closer to $27k to $30k, average.
'68 and '71 are your next best value-wise, running $22k to $26k. '73 to '82 will all be $10k to $20k for an average specimen.

Must have been the Speed Racer look of the 69-70 for me. It's like Racer X's car. Always loved the lines of it.
