There are women that will not date anyone below 5'10''. I don't hold it against them.
Me either. These women instinctively want better genetics. They also don't want to have to worry about being taller than their man when they wear heels. It is just more to think about for them and why not avoid it if you can. Plus, if they have kids together they could be comforted knowing their kids won't be short and thus more likely to be less successful.

o me, what stands out about a lot of short guys I know(remember, I'm short too) is their tendency to feel the need to remind you that they can do anything you can do.
Um, you never see a 6'3" guy doing that. If you're short like me, just do it. Let THEM notice and be surprised by what you can do, don't ASK them to notice. Even if not intentional, it is perceived as sort of sad.
yup. Nothing worse in sports than the short guy barking and having the biggest mouth. Little man syndrome.

If it wasn't for short people we wouldn't have truck lift kits and crossfit.

That could also mean smarts. Sounds like there's quite a few taller dudes here with no money, degrees, or financial security. Fortunately, this America and it provides laws against assault, so smarts wins over size. Back in the caveman days, not so much. Just off the top of my head, shorter powerful men...

No.
The two aren't mutually exclusive if that's what you're claiming. Not in my experience.

riiiiight, when women decide to flick their knob to porn, i bet they all google "short, confident, men" - JUST LOL
I don't think I've ever looked at the actual male when watching porn. I purposely ignore them. Are you saying that porn categorized by the way the person looks in the face/hair/other nonsexual features is actually used? Interesting.
When I see "brunette" category, I assume nobody clicks on that. Who is thinking about hair color?

I'm a short dude, and I never feel discriminated against really. I know some women don't like to date short guys, but I'm cool with that. I'm 5'6", and have dated girls shorter than me, my height, and a good bit taller than me (I actually think tall chicks are hot).
And growing up, I was always good at things like games and sports, so I always got picked first or close to it. So it's never really been an issue at all for me.

Surprised no one said it's trashy to be short yet.
Quite the opposite. We are more earth friendly. Lower carbon footprint. Who you think the left wing wackos are going after next? We need less food, oxygen, leg room etc. Imagine the savings of natural resources if every house or building had 6 foot ceilings. Clothing? Less. But brainpower still the same if not higher. We survived evolution somehow. We tend to be smarter and more cunning. We are the future.

IMO anything under 5"10 is short but I don't think guys that are 5"7-5"9 get that much discrimination. When you are 5"5-5"6 or shorter people stop taking guys seriously. I am not saying it is right but it is the truth. I mean, how many 5"3 CEOs are there
This is probably true. I'm 5'7"-5'8" depending on posture and get a few comments from insecure taller guys. Never been a real issue with women. Bothered the wife at first when we started dating cause she'd a little taller than me in most of her shoes with any heel at all. Apparently she got over it. I've been with a lot of taller women and had no issues. Really just an issue if they have issues about their height. Now I have a friend that is 5'2 or so. He's never had a woman less than 5'5". But there are some taller that wouldn't date him but would me. It's never bothered me that much, but my brother who is actually close to 5'9" is eat up with short man's syndrome. I think the only thing keeping him sane is being taller than big bro.
Posted on 2/25/15 at 2:45 pm to Chef Leppard
I don't think so? I'm average height for a woman. I've dated really tall guys and average to shorter guys. I draw the line if the guy is shorter than me without heels though. Nothing against shorter guys. I just don't like feeling like an Amazon. And I like wearing heels.

Short guys tend to have a chip on their shoulder and it makes me laugh.
