Pleasantly surprised at how well St. Aug performed this year. Not as talented as the past 3-4 years (very young group) but have the pieces to make a good run. Caleb Daniels will be a top 3 ranked player in the state in 2 years.

Madison Prep is kickin arse this year........ Nobody stops them IMO.

Haven't seen Scotlandville or Lafayette High or any other the 5a powerhouses, but I saw St. Aug at the Sunkist and I was impressed at the defensive tenacity.
With the big kid inside and solid guard play (really like the demeanor of the thin guard who wears the long sleeves), St. Aug has just as good a shot as anyone this year.

Nat Central pounded Ouachita the other night with their size, they could be the team to beat with those big boys!
Ouachita could make a run with good matchups, their guard play and toughness is off the charts....and they have beaten Natch Cent once....but they lack depth inside, NC exposed them just like Scotlandville did a couple years ago in the State Championship

My EHS Knights will make it back to the top 28. We went my junior year and I think they made it a couple of years after I graduated. Three times in less than ten years is pretty good for Beckman.

The thin guard is only a freshman and is lightning quick. When he plays with composure, he really makes that team go.
